Getting it Wrong and Then Trying to fix it

Postby JPS » Thu Feb 24, 2011 1:33 pm

Well I went down to the beach again this evening to do some more practice casting the 200 gram with my Century Tip Tornado Sport and Penn 525 Mag T . The reel is heavily breaked so that I just focus on the casting. As you will see in the initial video clip this wasn't helping me at all. It does show that turning before the lead is in position and tring to hit it too hard causes way to many problems

After these frustrations I I decided that I needed to change what I was doing instead of just giving up in frustration . The casts weren't what I want and I still have a lot of work to do to get back to a level that I am happy with but that's the way casting is.

Happy to hear from anyone wanting to suggest improvements as I will take all the help I can get.

Here is the footage with the changed swing style.

As you will see I am still hitting to much with the right arm and not getting the left arm pull correct but I will get it sorted. - I hope
