found this on youtube, seems like it coulld be adapted for the long continental fixed spool outfits for thumping a flapper out a good distance.

I use that with the gb3 :) Works great with a short rig like a 2 hook loop rig :D

what lenght is it the reason i ask is i bought a 16 feet and am not gettin much extra with it and i no its not the rod its me

Hi Trout hunter it is 15 feet in length. I found this cast can send a bait out quite a long way and the short drop helps with this cast. I usually have the weight behind me as close to the ground as possible. I noticed a difference in distance when i first used this cast :) looks a bit weird while doing it but it works :lol:
