Bangor boat

Postby kissafish » Mon Aug 01, 2005 9:24 pm

I visited Bangor today. Mon/1st-8-05. (I wasn't fishing)
But i have to share this sight with you.
I walked up the pier to see if any of the kids fishing there had caught any fish, No fish at all one lad said.
Next thing - A boat with about 12 anglers came into port (mostly kids)
I am not sure what the name of the boat was, But as it came in, It suddenly Stopped and turned its Engine off.
Then the Skipper went over to the side of the boat, And Called - SAMMY (I think) - I was amazed to see a adult Seal pop its head up beside the boat looking for its dinner - SAMMY WAS WELL FED !!

sounds like brian mehargs boat aquarius http://www.bangorboatcharters.com,,the seals around bangor are plain lazy ,they hang around the mouth of the harbour waiting for angling boats to come in ,can cause a few problems when your trying to get a conger bait down the side of the harbour wall .
