[b]People:About 12

[b]Duration:3 hrs

[b]Tide:In coming

[b]Weather:Calm

[b]Bait:Feathers

[b]Rigs:Feathers

[b]Results:About 5 keepable Pollock

[b]Report:Very Dissapointing, Took the kids out for a days fishing onboard the Brothers charter boat from Donaghadee (£10 per adult + £8 per child) The skipper drifted over 2 spots over and over again even though there was no fish showing on his fishfinder. Drifted over Donaghadee side of Copeland Islands about 1/2 mile from port.
The kids were totaly drunk off after an hour and just wanted to go home and so was i. WASTE OF MONEY!!

It was only for 3 hours, so not that cheap really.

The skipper sounds like a certain one I was out with this time last year from Mullaghmore.

d'dee boat

Postby Guest » Wed Aug 10, 2005 8:05 pm

hi all
I missed the d'dee boat this morning and went out on missy moo from bangor from 2-5pm instead.
had a brilliant afternoon and the skipper kept moving marks when it got quiet.
the boat had about ten people on board and everybody caught plenty of mackerel.
cost was £12 and was brilliant value for money imho.
all the best

I have had a few feedbacks about Missy moo from fellow angling mates, And every one is positive, Seems to be a good skipper.
I have been on a charter fishing trip on missy moo before, But we are talking about 8 or 9 years ago, When i was in the south-east-antrim SAC.
(too long ago to remember in detail)
But what i do recall is that he was very much into safety on his boat, Before we left port we were informed as to where all the safety equipment was and how to use them.
