I know its not quite sea fishing but I am taking up fly fishing and want to know what flies work on the dodder at this time of year. If anyone has any information I would be grateful

The Dodder can be tough. Mostly small flies nymphs and dries if there is a rise or two. There is a club on the river and it is not expensive to join. Maybe one of the members will have more information. On the sea fishing side there can be big mullet near the mouth of the river and there was a specimin taken last year. You can get them going on bread and the use a bread like fly if you fancy one on the fly rod.
