Outswing angle

Postby Donagh » Sun Feb 10, 2008 10:49 pm

I find I load the rod best with an outswing nearly 180 degree to the direction of the target and I get consistant distances of over 150 meters and sometimes beyond. As I push out the out swing angle my casting can fall to pieces and even when its going ok I don't gain distance and lose the conisistancy.

Any advise?

out-swing

hear what youre saying, 180 degrees, is increasing youre casting arc
when doing this you most certainly have to slow down on the out-swing
give the lead time to reach its apex, foot-positioning is very important,
as is youre arms, well out from youre chest, pull round and through
not over, as so often happens, but in generl slow slow in fast out.

all the best m.
