SCI Results 7th Oct

Well after a major court malfunction  we eventually managed to get going thanks to all the members chipping in and helping to get it sorted, thank you guys.
The weather was dry all day but with virtually no wind at all we knew we were not going to have it easy but some PBs out down none the less.
With 9 casters in attendance here are the days results:

---150g-----------style-------distance/metres
M.Harrison----------P-----------215.78
J.Henry--------------P-----------210.25
S.Byrne-------------P-----------208.92-PB
P.Cunningham------P-----------194.38
K.Stafford-----------P-----------175.50
J.Keenan------------P-----------174.23
K.McClean----------P------------173.20-PB
R.Kutkaitis----------P------------173.09-PB
J.Waldron---------OTG----------74.22-PB

Caster of the day has to go to Rytis Kutkaitis who put down a cast of 173+m on his first time on a court and is deffinitly one to watch for the future, well done Rytis.
Another new comer to casting was John Waldron who did very well on his first time out beach casting let alone on a court with a cast of 74+m well done john it will be the 100m for you next time.

Mac again worked his magic on the photos im sure he will get some up soon, thanks kev.

thank you for the advice. I would say to anyone who is a beginner not to be intimidated and to go along as they are a very helpful group of lads who will give you pointers to the basic technique. The nearest measurement on the court is at 150 meters, which looks a long way off when you are starting out

Made it back online after my trip away. It was great to meet you all while there and it was a fun days casting, look forward to getting down again for some serious wanging.

Great shots Kev and well done on that P.B. told you you could do it easy. Well done to the other lads on the P.B.s too.

Marty
