Poppers

The above are a few poppers which I have made, the second photo shows a Wiggle Fin added.

The third photo shows a Clouser tied on a Scoobi, this wiggles like crazy, great swimming action.

What do you think?

Sorry, haven't tried them myself yet in the salt but the basic poppers are based on well established patterns.

The addition of the fins is based on the end of last season when I did something similar for pike with good esults.

Very nice flies mate. Looks like you have tied them on tubing of some sort.... Very interesting. Are they difficult to tie?

They are tied on Scoobis. You know the things that all the kids are running around with these days.

Basically they are just 2.5mm diameter flexible plastic hollow strings. They cost about £1 for for more than you could ever use.

The Clouser with the Wigglefin is christened Daphne after the slim one with the wiggle in Scooby Doo. :D
