Hi
Can you please suggest what size flies I should be using ? I am new to salt-flies and I am not familiar with the sizing. I am going for Pollack.

flynnboy hello.Take a look at some mackerel feather traces.They run from #4 up to #2/0.I would say any size fly in this size range will do.Most of my flies are tied on size 4 or 2 hooks.Plenty big enough for all pollack fishing.Body length I suggest would be 2/2.5" overall.You will get many suggestions for fly length and size.That's what I use and have been successful.
