Look's pretty good dave, you could make the body taper back from the eye's towards the eye of the hook but dont need to. Im sure that will catch. Another thing you can add to shrimp fly's is a thin piece of plastic along the back of the shrimp and wind the ribbing across it gives it a smoother shrimpy profile.

Would winding on a hackle give the impresion of shrimp legs?

Thats what I did in my step by step. If he trimmed the hair off the top of the fly and pulled it out a bit more underneath the fly it would give the impression of leg's as well.
