new mark testing 23rd June

Postby kieran » Mon Jun 15, 2015 1:14 pm

Hi

Have a day pass and heading up to North Mayo - probably Belmullet - to try out some new marks, deep water out over sand, weather set to be calm and warm and dry (!). If anyone wants to link up you can post here or send me a PM for the locations/directions.

HW is around 22:40 and its not a big tide, around 3.3 metres, with wind force six during the day dropping to force four and coming in from the south, which will aid casting so no harm there... expecting to fish down and up from around midday until sundown.

Long range weather forecast is ok, with the chance of a shower, and around 15 C, hotter if the sun comes through...

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
