27th should be possible for me.

As Phil said, can we get this one organised quickly and have everyone turn up?

Venue will depend on numbers attending.

Suggest Blue Pool, deeper water so might still fish well, and no sand to put off the pier boys.

Close to hot food too!

another venue came to mind, portrush harbour?
conger lads can try inside and others with a decent cast can try back wall , then inside the harbour or small pier at the mouth of harbour for those not so confident casters.
still a chance of flounder and whiting, late dogs and possibly coalies?

Right, suggest date gets fixed to 27th Jan.

If this does not suit then there is always next month, by moving dates about it just puts people off.

As for venue, it can be fixed later.

What does everyone think?

Think it's about time i showed my face at a Northern meeting - making a concerted effort to improve my shore/beach fishing methods & casting skills in 2006.

All help greatly appreciated.
