Myself and ' wrasshole' are launching my Alaska on Sunday from Ferry point Youghal, I can take one more angler if someone is prepared to be there at 8am. Last time out was great fun and if the winds are as light as forecast we shall be able to use light gear for the cod. Call to shop or give me a buz

Yep the fishing was poor enough, dirty water, no wind, and four trawlers grid working the area all day, 8 species. a couple of large pollock but nothing special, only so nice to be afloat. The BBC were filming aboard 'Holly Joe' but we saw no whale or even dolphin.
