Hi,
I would like to get out on a boat this weekend fsihing for Cod.
Anybody got a spare seat in Dublin & surround area?

theres a boat comp down in cobh cork this weekend it 40euro a seat if thats not to far for ya

Thanks For headsup there JimmyEllis.
I rang my brother who lives in Cork & he has gone & booked us in for that competition on Sunday.
Don't know if its going to be a big turnout as only one boat full already.

smc as far as i know that is a light line comp, 15lb main line and 15lb traces

yep thats right its a light line comp and theres now 2 boats going out theres a few seats left but filling up fast

It was a good day out for me
5 codling
4 whiting
1 pouting
Came 6th overall not bad for my first outing this year.
Had a new rod & reel so at least she well christened now.
