No sweat Ian, ended up at the north beach anyway, not familiar with the south beach and had the youngster with me, he's not partial to long walks (carrying all my bait anyway  ) and I wasn't sure if we had to trek to get to the south beach marks so just played safe.

Wish I hadn't though, took 1 doggy and had several good runs (one emptying the spool before I managed to get to the rod) but inevitibley on almost every retreive I got snagged( 2 hook flappers, probably not the best idea) and I lost count of the number of traces I lost.

I took a leaf out of the Ed Burke school of baiting :) and brought everything, squid, rag, mussel, prawn, sandeel, macks, a partridge in a pear tree etc, but just the one dog to show for it.

A couple of other lads were back towards the car-park and didn't have to much success either, couple of doggies I think.

So a bit dissapointing but nice to get out never the less..

Cheers
