As a warm up for the S-A-I forum fish-off how about a meet this Sunday. Tides are perfect with high being 7:40. So far I believe myself, Ed Burke, possibly Luke (aka Dirty Fecker) and Pat can make it, hopefully Mb.3, lampoon etc. can make it down for a decent nights fishing.

Puts the flying fish off. They have trouble getting airborne if it is really windy.

fish the north beach up at the arch in the middle its fishing well there, theres a nice sandy bank straight out from here holds some nice whiting , dogs , codling and the odd decent late plaice, you wont lose gear and you should have some protection from the southerly winds that will blow you off the s. beach. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GRIP LEADS with a southerly the tide runs from the south along the beach very fast. sandeel , rag/lug , mussel and a bit of razor. best to save your peelers for the rough ground.

thanks lampoon. surely the codling move over the clean ground when the sea is heavy?
