got one for Christmas, use it to hold pliers, forceps and t-bar, as well as line and a headlamp, I put leads in an clean ice cream tub and smaller ones IE.bullets and 2oz bombs in a divided container.

I find it great as it holds the lead close to your back putting least strain. 7oz Impact leads don't fit great and as the leads are upside down finding which impact lead isn't imediately obvious. The non-impacts I have have colour beads on the wires so not a problem. The lock is great and worth the money alone as the shakey latch is crap. The reel holders can let the reel flop out if the box is over packed and the heads of the screws rust on this fitting.

i bought one last year, i wouldnt bother with them tbh, more hassle than they are worth, the lock and reel holders are handy though

Got one a few years ago and as Phil says more hassle than theyre worth.
Donagh far as I know the handiest way to put the impacts in them is to lift up the plastic cone, turn the lead on its side so the wire under the plastic cone fits into the slot and then let the lead down so its hanging from the plastic cone.

i had one but it took up too much space i couldnt get two large rig wallets and fixed spool reel into the bottom of the box so they had to sit along the top but then the reel holders in the lid would not close with reels in them so i just took it out.

not a bad idea but could have done with a bit more thought.

I was suprised about the dislike of these as I have so much time for them but thinking I have to fill the tray with 6oz and 5oz grips due to the area I fish which are ideal for this tray. Smaller plain leads, larger leads or odd shaped lead won't work with them so I understand why people fishing different marks to myself wouldn't think much of them. The reel holders are a waste of time for FS reels. I normaly pack 3 multipliers. Two in the reel holders and one in an Imax reel cover along with my reg wallets and extras. FS beach reels take up alot of space one of the reasons I love multipliers.
