The Apollo M2 is a very nice rough ground rod, the lifetime warranty makes it ideal ( any rod is easily damaged on rock marks )

The 13ft rod is light and powerful and could be used reel high or low, the 14 ft version is quite a bit more powerful and really needs the reel low to get the best out of it if you need to cast it any distance.

Both rods have excellent tips for bite detection.

cheers lee. i tend to fish reel down so the 14 ft sounds perfect. its more long distance over mixed to rough ground i'l be using it for so it could be perfect

It does take a bit more winding up than the 13ft version, am currently using it for field casting so is more than capable of distance work.

Try one if you can before you buy as they can feel a bit tip heavy.
