Can anyone recommend a good suit for keeping warm and dry for the winter?

I've a sundridge minus tem. It's pretty basic and probably not sold any more, but it's survived a lot of winters.

Got a Mullion one piece flotation suit last year, bit dear right enough but it was the only decent one piece I came across. Smart looking as its grey and black with reflective strips instead of the usual day-glo stuff. Well sealed up at cuffs and ankles with a fine big peaked hood that keeps all the wet stuff out.

Winter suit.

Look at some of the floatation suits, keep you really warm and also keep you safe. I have the Fladen suit and really can't fault it for heat although sometimes as you say, if it is milder you have to take the jacket off to cool down. I would also recommend getting a suit with the floatition built into both the jacket and bib and brace.

Hi,

I have a sundridge flotation suit for the last number of years, can't remember what model but the thing is fantastic. Keeps you really warm and dry and this thing has stood up to some abuse. Would buy again.

The other advantage with the two piece is that if you try a beach somewhere and need chesties for wading you'll still be able to use the jacket

A two-piece is probably a good option if fishing from the beach, however if boat fishing then a one-piece is best.

i have a sundridge survivor, real warm but quite expensive, the fladen floaty suits are worth a look as they do them in all different sizes plus different leg lengths etc as well and not overly expensive
