Hi guys anyone have the penn affinity reel 8000 having problems tieing braid to the spool useing the holes provided any ideas or nots that would work. Thanks in advance.

No need to tie it to the spool as you'll never cast so far that you'll empty the spool. Just tape it to the base of the spool which leaves a lovely even finish when filled . Hope this helps !

to or tree turns of electrical tape on spool then bite the not down on to it it should grip on to it
