Sean i have a review in a sea-angler magazine if it's any use?!!

There was a review in Sea Angler which said that these could take any kind of cast, whether it's an overhead thump, OTG, pendulam etc, and can be used with either FS or multi. Sounds like a cracking rod, but it's a tad expensive! probably set you back about €525 -€550 including p&p to Ireland.

Finally got my hands on this rod today, a savage piece of kit.
The build quality is phenomenal, the finish beautiful.
Tom Burness is a master of his craft.
It's nearly a shame to fish with it now, don't want to scuff it up, might just leave it in the kitchen to look at, Naaaahhhhhhh

I think the rod Sean has is the GB3 Heavy ( I may be wrong) but the one Alby has is the GB light. I think both rods were Terry's way of sticking two fingers up at the hype that was going on about the 3 piece European rods a while back
Tom.

No, not a brute stick, think that might be the GB3 Heavy you read about.
Cracking rod, plenty of backbone for you big hitters and more importantly for me, a great "fishing" rod. Still with very little effort it can put a bait a good distance. If ye fancy a chuck, just drop me a pm.
