Penn tool?

Penn tool?

Postby cmac » Mon Aug 12, 2013 12:01 am

Hello All,
First post so apologies if this is in the wrong section (seemed like the only logical place to post)!
Does anyone know where to source the spanner/tool for taking the handle off the older Penn (multiplier) reels? I have an old Squidder 140 that I want to resurrect and thought I might do the job "right".
While on the subject, what are the chances of getting an aluminium spool for this model (the only UK based ebay listing showed the 140 spool as out of stock).
Thanks.

Was considering that alright, but doesn't that involve having to pay customs/duty?

Thanks ShaneH. I'll give that a go.
The reason that I assumed extra charges would be involved goes back to years ago... I had been sent some CDs by a computer vendor. The CDs were completely free of charge and this was also stated on the customs declaration. I forget now just how much it cost me by the time I'd paid the customs charge and the extra courier charge!! The irony was I was heading to the States the very next week.
