Hi guys
Anyone got any views on this rod? What's it cast like? What's the bite indication like? And how powerful is it?
Cheers

Have two. Their a lovely rod and are progressive to bend so are easy to cast. I use them reel low and i think they would be to long for reel high

I fish 6oz leads in strong tides on snaggy ground for thornbacks and their perfect for my fishing. Bite detection is fine but I use other rods for smaller fish as they would be over kill for likes of flats.

Big beach mk2 is on route soon too so that will be well worth a look, anyone who has then original rates them highly.

yes the rods are fantastic. i have two myself and they are always the first choice for any mark. I have a century man most of my life and when i tried the big beach i had to have another. had shambrock on the phone when he saw my review of the rod.
ps try and get a reducer with the rod, first ones came with them but because of the price making them they dicided stop making them to keep the price of the rod down for the market. if you dont someone will have one somewhere.

Been a century man myself for a good few years and I use to have a 14ft 6&bait and it was a cracking rod and its the only rod I ever regret selling to be completely honest.
