Box's

Hey guys
Im basically looking for something to hold my kit in, the daiwa team box's etc just seem a little pricey for size I seen

Ive seen a lot of guys using the second one, but not 100% on the first. Its a pain having to take a shoulder bag and then rods and another box for the rest of my stuff.

I am stumped.

Why limit your angling abilities by using tackle carriers which by design limit your choice of marks.
Boxes are fine providing you only fish piers/promenades over which wheels are capable of rolling. Such equipment is a total no no
on sand/over rocks marks/shingle.
Far better to go for a rucksack which leaves you with hands free to carry rods & rests, bait bucket etc.
Spare clothing can be carried strapped under the rucksack (not inside) and strapped on.
Far easier a and you become far more mobile, enabling you to fish those marks which boxes put beyond reach or effort

I think the Shakespeare Beta or Team boxes are the way to go,fitted with a Breakaway convesion Kit.
The majority of tackle shops will sell them, however shop around for the best price.

cachalot, I have a small box and bag to carry most of my gear in if im going to a rocky area etc
but lately ive been doing a lot of pier or beach fishing meaning a box is handy as I carry more gear aswell as have somewhere to sit.
Im just looking for some idea's I need something that can be used for a hole lot of gear aswell as giving me some kind of protection for it.
My current box lets water in and the bag well if you spat on it, it would be saturated haha
yea Ive been looking at the team box's but still havent made up my mind.

i would certainly steer clear of the team daiwa boxes an shakespeare boxes with breakaway back conversion they are a heavy lump an are useless imo when looking for something an that, they are a disaster im going for an ian golds backpack now instead

get the box as above you wont regret it unless you plan to travel across a lot of land they are hevey compared to a ruc sack thow. i messed arond a few times with diy tool boxes and the were a pain. and break far to easy on uneven ground the wheals are prity useless too as they dig into sand and wont go across rock fine for a peir but not much else
