How are you lads i got one of these today to replace the abu cardinal i made sh#t of the other night, and i was just wondering are they any good? im in two minds about it i payed 85 for it and i havent touched it yet because i might bring it back. The abu cardinal was a great reel i had it for over a year and it never gave me a problem ontil i dropped it in a rogue wave :x and that only cost me €50.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

hey Robbie ive a tenax ex70 ive used weekly for over a year now and are very happy with it, my only criticism would be the body is a bit flexi when reeling in double doggies and bigger fish, on the odd occasion   . I rinse it off after fishing with it and it still looks and works great. hope yours does it for you 8)

they are ok robbie grauvell do a saltwater baitrunner big one would be deadly for smoothies and bass 8) ,as with all fixed spools if your casting much weight make sure the spool is at the bottom of its stroke ,this will stop you bending the axle and having a wobbly reel
