penn powerstix

Just bought the penn powerstix pro 13ft lovely rod, paired it with a penn surfmaster 750, loaded it with 16lb surfix xl and tapered shock leader. had it out for an hour the other nite not much joy fish wise but felt very nice in the hand cant wait to hook some bass with it later on in the year

Great to hear, I am in the process of picking one up to pair with a Surfmaster 70

i have one about year, Grand rod nice and fast great for casting light leads.for the price you wont good far wrong the only fault i have is the reel seat is fixed so if you use a multi check it out before you buy.it gets 10 out 10 for me

have to agree with you there, was disappointed when i seen the fixed reel seat wouldn't attempt to cast it with a multi just have to use the fs don't mind though still works we'll and nice action
