snood line

what in your own opinion is the best line for snoods, i am useing amnesia black in 20 and30lb but i cant get it to knot right

I like maxima chameleon, and memorex by ultima.

amnesia is good, give it a good stretch before using it, i find it hangs and knots better that way.
also, try some flurocarbon..the tubertini stuff isnt bad. Smooth knots together gently and use a bit of spit to lubricate.

i hate the black amnesia i find it very brittle compared to the clear ,have tried others and always go back to the amnesia in clear

i never tried clear amnesia will buy a spool of it

NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CLEAR AMNESIA. SEEN THE BLACK STUFF USED ON A CHARTER BOAT IN 40 POUND STRAIN WITHOUT ANY DIFFS, THOUGH NEVER USED IT MYSELF, WHAT KNOTS ARE YOU TYING?

amnesia should be one of the easier lines to knot. it could be the way you are tightening it up?

I used black animesa many moons ago in this strenght, and found it undoing the knots on the hooks, especially on the smaller hooks. I think if you change your knot or do a double tuck on your normal clinch knot it will help.
