Varivas is very good quality gear, have used their mono and shock leaders for a long time and very impressed with them

Their hooks are excellent. Saltwater champions in smaler sizes for worm and small crab baits,Aberdeen and Big Mouth & BMXtras for nearly everything else. Circles in 4/0 & 5/0 for live baiting. Can not fault their finish. The Varivas Avani braids are excellent and their mono is top quality. Have been using Varivas stuff for over 10 years and never has it let me down. Give it a try you might like it.

just one product i tried and didnt like the piggyback hooks with the big spike welded onto the shank great for holding your bait on but can inflict a very nasty wound if your not ultra carefull a big baitholder hook will grip your bait in the same way without the need for hospital treatment after  used the saltwater champions a few years ago and they are a good hook

I used to use varivas hooks but changed back to kamazans.I found the match hooks in size 4 and 6 fine but the saltwater champions in size 1 and 2 just were not strong enough, i have lost a few good fish because of the hook breaking :( and before you say it i only use a hook once and then change them. Hope this helps.

All my traces are made using the small oval black beads and the snood swivels, rolling swivels. Also use the larger size for top of the trace.
Never let me down and have been using them for a long time.
The only hooks I used were the big mouth, found they lose their point very easy, in particular the smaller sizes and they are quite soft.
But I use Kamasan almost exclusively anyway.
