Shimano BaitrunnerD

I was checking one of these out at Veals was just wondering would the bigger one be any use for boat fishing??

How you doin bud, you could do alot worse than to invest in the Shimano baitrunner L C... Superb Reel and used with the Tubertini F.1 There a nice bit of kit.. think the reel is about 240euro...

I bought a Shimano Rarenium 4000 and paired it with a Grauvell Kona 11ft spinning rod, to use from the boat for the lighter inshore work. I was sceptical initally, but it copped with double wrasse, double Pollack no problems at all.

That set-up is so light its unbeliveable!

Paddy you reckon the BaitrunnerD with a quiver tip type rod would work?
