reviews of bits and pieces

Hi lads

Picked up a few pieces recently so heres a quick review

1) Zziplex Primo Syncro - First Zziplex rod ever, used it last weekend for the first time, cracking rod, attempted my first cast with the reel set in the low position with the rod - definately added a few yards - picked this up on the fishing tackle for sale section - will be using this more often

2) Berkley Filleting knife - razor sharp and reasonably priced as well, not one of the cheapy knives that crack after a couple of uses, also has a handy little sharpener built into the scabbard

3) Shakespeare Salt Rucksack - When going on family trips my beta box is banned from travelling with us so up until now have been using ordinary backpacks that inevitably means you are stuffing the gear in so picked up the salt rucksack a couple of weeks back - well put together, plently of space for the size of it, nothing got crushed and packs neatly into the boot of the car, will not be taking the place of the beta box but perfect for when you are trying to get gear in the car without being noticed :D :D :D :D

4) Imax White Squall Smock - Used it in heavy rain last weekend and not a leak, kept the bod nice and cosy without being too hot - downside the black net like material on the inside can get caught in things when taking off the smock but hey small price to pay for dryness

Regards

Nice reviews Seamus.

Any sessions in the next few days? PM me or text me if you have one. Gears are all tucked in perfectly and ready to go. Short notice would be ok hehehe :D :D :D

Not been on the site for a while but just spotted my previous review,,, The Imax White Squall on the last few trips has leaked every time, picked up a Greys Apollo Smock instead so hopefully this will do the trick

Hopefully will have more time now to look through the site again, missed it
