Silva Alpha 6

Just had this headlamp out for a walk in the forest with the dog this thing is amazing 150m /15watt

Image

it has good battery capacity , 6.6ah and 7.2 v i think , also it has good run/burn times .

run/burn times:
3 hours+ on full power its more of a powerful focused spot beam .

6 hours medium
still very bright light and similar focused spot beam as the full power.

Image

24 hours on low
Say this would be great for baiting up and watching your rod tip

Image

best setting is the flood setting
9 hours on flood
the flood light is excellent .
lights up surroundings, makes you feel very safe, an lasts a very impressive 9 hours which is more than enough for most fishing sessions ..

Battery :
battery cannot be left on constant charge for weeks, it is a very light battery pack it will fit in your pocket or on your belt

overall this light is the dogs and its very bright 8)

Shane , I feel your pain already  , i've been through it for the last year  , constantly checking to see if my own light is on or off   . Having to wear sunglasses on the beach at night is the worst part  :roll:I eventually lost it with him one evening (see pic  ) but i've had counselling and i'm ok now,,,,,i think :? :?

I thought the same but they put there hands up and admitted fault with the lx2 range there customer service is good so i cant kick them for that.. and i got this light at a steel of a price so ill give them one more chance the build quality is much better then any headlamp iv seen plus 2 years guarantee.....but as you said time will tell

you should send back your 3 broken lx2!!!!!!
