beach rod and reel combo

Hi Lads
looking for a bit of advice for a mate in work .Hes looking to start beach fishing and is looking for a rod reel combo that wont break the bank .

around 150

he'd pick up a new salt rod for 90 euro .... really good value for the money! penn do the surfmaster 750 i think it retails at 90 good combo for the money if he wants to buy brand new

Check out henry's fishing tackle web site i was on it yesterday and it had a good few combo deals think one was a diawa beach rod with a shimano reel and it was under 150 i think it was even under 100.
