Just in case anyone else is looking at this thread, I'd like to add that I recently picked up a Greys 12' BZE, and while I can't fault the action or the blank (it's a lovely rod to fish with), the plastic insert on the top eye fell out on my second session. In itself, this is not a big deal, but it did mean I had to have the eye replaced (which is hassle) and that the tip finish was compromised two weeks after I got it.
I find it a bit irritating that Greys, who are happy to offer an unlimited lifetime guarantee for the blank, should then scrimp and use cheap eyes for the line guides.
That's my 10 cents anyway ...

bze is a lovely rod, but my tip section snapped during a cast, it is a very nice rod though, well worth the money

They also charge for postage which is about 40 euro for a tip section!

I have a pair of 12'6" BZEs, and like most of the lads that have used them I wouldnt swap them. I have never had any trouble with mine, but I dont overload them, and I step up to another rod if there is too much weed.
