century tip tornado lite or ultra lite

torn between the two of these, tending to go towards the ultra lite as i have a tip tornado match already which i imagine would not be to far from the lite. Any advice would apreciated.looking for a rod to use for scratching and bass/flattie fishing but still with power to cast and handle a big fish if needed

if you want a rod for flatties and bass go for the ultra lite ! still has the backbone for a decent fish too

Had the Lite myself beautiful rod I have to say, both have plenty of power but will still do the light stuff where needed.

Personally I'd say the lite is a better all round option but both are great rods.

No help i know!! :D

ok i have had a belt of the ultra light and its a fine bit of kit ,the rod is light enough but i wouldnt discribe it as ultra light :| the tip is quite stiff for such a thin rod and it,s quite powerfull for casting 4 oz seems the best balance for casting with 5 oz not putting overdue pressure on the blank bite indication is good for a stiffish tip ,i can see this becoming my prefered rod for the finer months when hopefully 7 oz leads are left at home in the shed, april and may last year if i remember correctly
