Lanterns

Mon Jan 26, 2009 7:30 pm

Hi i broke my lantern at the weekend. It was a standard gas one for about €25.I was thinking of buying a more expensive one. Id like to know do people use lanterns or do they just rely on headlamps. Could anyone recommend a good one. Thanks.

Definitely have to agree with you. Excellent lantern - and a bonus is the heat it gives off (handy in the winter)

yeah have to agree i have a coleman two mantle lantern but kinda only use it in the winter season as one of them in the beach shelter on a pissy nite is great for the comfort , well worth investing , only downfall is the mantles can be a bit delicate in transportation .,

I have to agree there a lantern is handy for the heat light and comfort they give off in a beach buddy.

I see coleman are making up these gas heaters they would be handy for an all nighter 7 hours of heat
