yes i have used one for a while ,very deceptive rod got stacks of power very slim and yet still very powerful,very good on the light leads and the .28 or 30 line have seen a few guys cast them and they are well capable of big distances in the right hands..i only ever fished with the one i had a lend of though,bit of deep spinning and a few sessions on the bottom.

i have one, love it. its probably my most used and versitile rod for everything bar rough ground fishing. have deep spun for pollack,float fished for wrasse, fished light for mullet and flats and its my favoutite rod for surf bass fishing. its rated for 3-5oz and will cast a 5 comfortably although 4oz is definately its optimum. coupled with a 6500 its a pleasure to fish with

our local tackle dealer saya its his favourite rod cant be too bad so..

Got one a while back for light field work but ended up using it for a fishing session and now it's my first choice when heading out fishing. A fantastic rod and a dream to fish with. (must give it a try on the field sometime )

I have my new TT-LD coming over in the next week or so and will be putting it through a few tests targeting our Snapper down here in Oz.

From the ones O flet while in the UK it will be excellent fro my fishing

I have heard a lot of good reports on th LD Jeremy (never tried one myself) but if the ultralight is anything to go by you are in for a treat. Let me know how you get on with it when it arrives
