just wated to ask other users, did they fish this rod high or low reel,
just when casting it low-but, with 5oz it felt at its complete maximum,
but when switching the reel to high reel position, the rod felt superb,
and handled the 5oz no problem and maybe could handle a bit more,

i think maybe this rod got the tag as being to soft , for the fact it never
really was made for low-butt casting, fishing the reel low has become
more of a fashion statement, than anything else , with rods such as the
profile,

I would agree with that....Peter Thain used a Profile with the reel high when he smashed the 18g plug record so versatile could be a tag to hang on to it and with the Profile Match out now they could be 2 rods that become another Zziplex legend.

your rod might be ringed for the reel to be in a high setting. i know that there are 3 different settings for the primo match one for fixed spool one for multiplier fished up the butt and one for multiplier fished low or down the butt. if you go onto the summers site it will give you the correct eye spacing.

Samo,
Summerlands have to try and serve the needs of all users, not all of their spacings are right....and who do you think gives them the ones that are right :)

I use mine reel up. I agree with previous posts - I have cast 210g with mine with no problem, it is a lot more powerful than I expected.
