tdpk beachcaster from daiwa.

Just wondering what the view on this beachcaster is.I know there a few years old now but was thinking of getting one second hand from a chap at work its the 12 ft multi version,its had very little use from what ive been told.Whats the bite detection casting and weight etc in comparison to the more modern rods as i have used a supercast pm and if its anything like it I'll be taking it off his hands with pleasure.

IMO one of the best fishing rods i ever owned, great bite detection and plenty of power down the blank, i had the TDPK 13M, im sorry i ever sold it , if its in good nick and reasonable money jump on it, you wont be dissapointed.

I also have a TDPK13M for a good few years. Very nice fishing rod.

I had a TPDK 12M - wish i never sold it - cracking rod. :D

Now all i have to do is meet the guy next week and do a bit of haggling as he is still trying to decide for definate if he wants to part with it.I had better tell him that its ancient and crap but i'll still take it :lol: :lol:

just make sure he doesnt see this thread, and you'l be fine... and mention that the TDPK 13M is the one you really want but your willing to take the 12 off his hands as its an inferior rod :wink: (i'm well used to this haggling craic :lol: :lol: )
