currently own a pair of xtr standard models 6ft-butt, 8 ft tips, the xtrs
have a very through action, was wanting to know if the lt14 had a similar
tip but maybe a bit more power through the mid section, i beleive the lt14
is also lighter and better balanced, would it be fair to say lt14 would be
stepped up in power from the standard xtr, information much app

not sure about the XTR standard mate. I have the sport and the LT14 would be a step down from the sport. The LT14 is nice and light though and a joy to fish with and will more than hold it's own on the field.
