unless your trying to propose to fish id stay clear of those for shore fishing, might be handy for dogs,rays..... off the boat as you know yourself

I bought a couple of these last year to try, had quite a bit of success whenfishing them maybe 4 feet from the lead whilst anchored in a particular spot in a fairly strong tide for Plaice and dabs. I was somewhat wary of them at first as they look like Bet Gilroy specials but it would seem the flats were mad about them. Had a nice few fish on them, there were 4 of us fishing in that spot and they certainly worked the best on the day.

id say you might get results on them from the shore if you were scratching for flats and only really lobbing the baits out. the spoons look like they would stir up the bottom and thats what attracts the flats think i might get some and try them out - where did you get them from?

Apparently those green/black alternating bling snoods are for flats as they look like the eggs of a particular food source, sorry I can't be any more specific but that's what I've read somewhere along the way.
I use a wishbone below the weight pretty often with lots of bling on, but I use rig tubing to make the two sides of the wishbone stand off the rig as that there looks like a nightmare for tangles.
I have some one up, one down rigs with large single hook on the top snood and a blinged up wishbone on the one up rig, both clipped to the middle of the snood, so when it unclips it drops the wishbone below the weight.
