Ok just had the rep over from Zebco, left me the dealer catalogue to browse and i must say im quite impressed..

Most rods and reels at very good attractive prices..rrp's of average £24 - £39.. for reels right down to 12.99 and rods varying from 15.99 up to 250

Anyone use any of this brand?
Anyone reccomend a rod or reel as a must to stock?

Terminal tackle looks good quality too.

Any Advice folks greatly appreaciated

yo winter36, a few years ago i got a Zebco 12'' carp rod to use for the pike paid around £60 for it. i now use it for the sea and its a cracker, when pike fishing it has handled pike over the 20lb mark, off the beach it has handled every thing so far. its thin and light and a dream to use. last year i got a Huss app: 14lb on it with no problems. people tell me its not a great make, and i don't know if it is or not, but its doing a great job for me. when going fishing its the first rod i lift....

Their Rhino range of spinning rods are top notch. I've a Spin M and I'm very happy with it. Cost me about 70 yoyo's.

yes the rhino range looks quite to be a load of superior pieces, i need to be very selective though, and must think of my market, most customers i have to be honest would not spend more than 60 for a rod, though i do know its about time i took the shop up a gear...so back to the order book..

im like a kid in a sweet shop..lol

hi winter got myself another Zebco rod, a friend of mine left for london to work and gave me the rod, its a Zebco express carp 3300 2 1/2lb 11" set it up with a multi: an a 3oz lead. tryed it out for a few hours a couple of days ago down past Greencastle, casting was great, bite detection was very good, got a few dogies on it. lovely slim and light rod to use.

yeah the carp rods look good, i got some of the zebco cool pilk rods in their as a few people asked for them, they look very good, im waiting on some 12ft CODFATHER rods from zebco arriving soon.

i remember a guy saying about the zebco carp rod before, he swears by it for the sea..

im intending to really build up a good range of zebco rods, they look the ticket, so does quantum and the rhino range.

i disagree keitzer, they are quite a good make, and they seem very strong, anyone who has used them have mostly good comments. so worth a try out at least , at those prices, not everything thats cheap or low cost is low quality, there is such a thing as a good deal.

ref the course fishing, they do half and half as their browning range covers that side. but they are moving more to the sea side now.

The norway international team use zebco, so they are at least worth a go.
