Penn Powerstix Bass

What is your opinion of the Penn powerstix bass? It also comes with a captiva reel. Any help appreciated. :wink:

a friend of mine has one... a light rod, perfect for light shore work 2-4oz, great for flattie fishing... reel not half bad either :D

I kitted myself out with the powerstick range earlier on in the year although not the bass version

I purchased the boat rod range

Have to say ive had a lot of fun with these rods, they definately look the part but i will say one thing the eyes are'nt that great im sure the same applies to the bass rod

Find it hard to fault them in any other way ive the 6/12lb class, 20/30lb and the uptider powerstick.

Like any of the penn gear bit of tlc and they'll last you a life time

yeah same as that i had the powerstix surf, great rod. couldnt see u going wrong with the powerstix range. btw welcome to the site

Won one last year but sold it to a mate who likes it. It feels a nice light balanced rod and decent build quality.
