the takel shop guy told me they arnt any good not acurate and break esaly but i think he was just telling me this becase he dident have any so whats the story with them

Donal,
I have a Rapala digital scales. I bought mine in Dublin and the shop I bought them from had had 10 certified before sale. They only sent in 10 so thats no failures for certification. I have not heard how these stand up to certifiaction tests over a period of years but having used mine a few times they are excellent scales.
