There's an old saying... "The Oldies Are The Best"...
And here I have to agree, today was my first proper fishing session with the Zziplex 2500ptx, and all I can say is 'WOW'. She throws a baited trace as well as any other High End Rod I've owned and has some seriously good bite detection. I Hooked 3 Coalies on it today, and even in the howling wind she showed the bites up Impecably. I possibly wasn't using her for what she's designed for today as I took her to a rough ground mark, But the Rod, Paired with a 525 Mag seemed right at Home dealing with the Terrain.
can't wait to go flattie bashing with this babe!
Casting 8/10
Bite detection 9/10
Cosmetics 9/10
User Friendlyness 10/10
Overall 8/10 8) 8)

we should start a zippy club on here....
have to agree.. the zippy's are a flippin good rod to cast with.. even down to bite detection with my 3500s a coalie smaller than my goldfish is noticeable, but enough strength to lift a good ray..
must try pairing up mine with the sl30sh sometime..
