I got my hands on a beta box at a good price due to it being a display model, used it for the first time on Sunday, will never look back again, super bit of kit.

i picked up the shakespeare box the other day(my valentines pressie

) and used it last night. i had 2 reels, 5 tubs of bait, flask, 2 cups, traces, first aid kit and a bag of leads in it with a bit of space still inside. very impressed with it. seemed sturdy and not so big that itll be filled with junk that i wont use. all i need now is a cheapy cushion for a bit of padding as i was sitting down too often due to the lack of bites

Have the standard Shakespeare box me self and have never had a problem apart from the smell of rotten bait
apparently the Ian Golds hardness is excellent but i have never tried one myself
