7htmag is the way to go trust me ive birdied them all and the mag is the one least likely to give you touble put mags up to 10 and try it at that at first then drop the mag down when you get used to the reel. saying that ive even birdied one of thses but thats just me

i use multi and fspool but if i was told i could only have one or tuther i think fixed spool would stay on my rod :wink:
one thing i like about multi,s is taking them apart and putting them back together 8) something i wouldnt do with a fixed spool :evil:


a lot of truth in this. penn 525's have a ratchet... very handy.

onlycast 1 7ht mag , liked it so much i now have 3..... fixed spool smashingfor match fishingand distance.... its down to preference, dont let others tell u otherwise, i work equally as well with botjh
