I have the Tip Tornado Supermatch Lovely rod and very forgiving, lovely tip on it. For inclose I use my AA Surf. But I admit I recently used my Zziplex HSM and it is absolutey amazing. The tip just bend into the surf. The best rod I have ever used for match fishing

Didnt realise you got rid of a TTSM either. I have the new version and they are a really good match rod and cover alot of conditions. But I have to say the HSM is awesome. Have you also checked out the new penn affinity twin tip

bought 2 affinity 13.6ft 2-4oz roads a couple a years ago when I was a bit more flush lets say (bait that day cost me 900 yoyos )sat there for a while untill I started using them was affraid of the small diameter didn't think the would be any use for much more than flats I couldn't have been more wrong now they are used for about 90% of my fishing cant fault them if you strike and hook up you know straight away I dont know if you will still get this rod but I would say the penn affinity rod the lads a rating would be on these lines with the extra advantage of the stiffer tip basically 2 rods for the price of one in my veiw.
Just my veiw.

I know they have had mixed reactions since they came out but consider Sonik SK4 14ft. Casts up to 7oz. Got one when my Conoflex Nemesis Plus SLR was in for re-build and I've been really impressed. Been using it since July so much so that I've never used the Conoflex yet since I got it back. First time I realised the sensitivity was fishing at Castlegregory last year for rays when flounder started picking up the baits. Couldn't believe how easily the bites showed and you could actually feel them. Nice and light and so far no problems in the heavier stuff. Landed conger to 17.5lb.

Hi Brown,

recently got an Anyfish Anywhere Tournament Match rod and I have to say it's the nicest fishing rod I've ever owned, the tip is second to none it has tons of power, it's slim light and a joy to use from 20-150 yards!

I've had plenty of Zziplex and Century rods over the years too but none been as nice as this rod to use.

Well worth a look if it's in budget, I can't rate it highly enough.

Regards,
