the sherpa's are good if your not fishing in mud all the time. had mine about 3years now and it's still going strong.

have to say im happy out with the keenets one i have - even though its for the coarse angler - plenty big and a cushioned seat for the 5 seconds i usually sit down for when fishing

Ah yes good auld argos..i have the same one but never bring it's not the most comfortable thing to carry..it cuts the sholders off ya...or maybe just me? I know Mark has one two and no complaints from him!

the key is to put the strap from the box on one shoulder and the strap from the rod bag on the other - so it cuts both equally, especially for 45min treks

But, must say, my keepnets one does the business for me, not really tall enough for me to sit on for too long as I'm 6'3, but who's sitting down that long when fishing anyway.

Its just big enough for me to get 3 or 4 reels in with trace wallets, pliers, filleting knife, flask etc, but not too big so as I'm filling it with tackle I'll not use. The more space you have, the more gear you put in, which means you'll end up carrying more than you need, its inevitable.


.............and I could always paint mine blue or green and put a shakespeare sticker on it :lol:
