Duration:10.30-15.00

Tide:high about 13.00

Weather:flat calm sea. fog as thick as soup.

Bait:lug. mack. mussell. rag. squid.

Rigs:various.

Results:whiting and a couple of pollack

Report:i took the boat out for the first trip of the year with high hopes of a few decent fish. just as well our lives didnt depend on them because they didnt play ball. best fish of the day was caught by my son darragh a pollack just over the 1 pound mark we also caught a couple of smaller ones plus a few whiting. we mainly fished the rougher grounds around dalkey. poor results for this aera but great to get out all the same thick fog all day lifted just as we headed for the harbour. we will be back. managed to blow cobwebs off the boat. :D
