Sea Angling Ireland

Fished on the celtic dawn today with rodney lomax. Just myself and my father on the boat. We started with about 50 mackerel of the head and headed to the reefs. I tried shads to no avail so went on to the jelly worm baited with mackerel. I got caught a few pollack first drift while my father caught a ballan and a cuckoo wrasse on baited feathers. the fish switched off for about an hour. we got back on the fish and my father got a run of three big pollack the best of the day at 4 1/2 lbs. :evil: i wont hear the end of it i was having my bait snatched by pouting until i landed a small one of a 1 lbs. i finished of the day with a small cuckoo to add a bit of coour to the grey sky. we called it a day after five hours when the wnd picked up and it started teeming :cry: Will be back again :!: :!: :!:
